MTD Micro Molding Expands in Charlton, MA
MTD Micro Molding recently celebrated the expansion of its medical micro-molding facility in Charlton, Massachusetts. The facility, which opened on May 27, 2021, was designed to ensure optimal project flow and tracking so customers can get to market faster. In addition, all quality systems are certified to ISO 13485 and the company produces all its tooling in house.

Rodon Group's 720-Ton Injection Molding Machine
The Rodon Group, based in Hatfield, Pennsylvania, is a high-volume, custom plastic injection molding solution provider established in 1956. They recently announced the addition of a new 720-ton hybrid Nissei plastic injection molding machine that will expand their capabilities beyond the company’s existing 125 molding presses.
The new 720-ton injection molding machine is already in use to produce large trays for the food and beverage industry. Michael Araten, president and CEO of The Rodon Group, said, “We have a 65-year history of providing high-volume, small parts. But with this press, we can now go beyond windows and serve customers looking for even larger manufactured parts.” You can read more about the new press here.
