Fluidized Cleaning
Our mold and tool services are available either on-site or remote.
We offer Preventative Maintenance Service Agreements to our clients, so they have the confidence of knowing their tools are always production ready and to plan for scheduled downtime and maintenance.
All work is performed and completed in the USA
- Parts are hoisted into a bed of fluidized sand homogeneously heated from 650° to 900℉
- Organic contamination breaks down to a gas in the flame zone above the sand
- After 1-3 hours (typically), clean parts are hoisted from the tank and any residual organic ash is removed from the parts
- Run borescope through the flow channels following treatment to demonstrate they are clear of foreign materials or blockage
- Service: remove and inspect manifold
- Cleaning and Repair: depending on the severity of issues found, i.e., damaged manifold, clogs due to dirty cooling fluid, or clogs due to carbonized molding material, we will:
- Provide a detailed description of what and how we plan to clean the manifold
- Provide a detailed description of what and how we will repair the manifold
- Clean the manifold with our fluidized cleaning process
- Run borescope through the flow channels to demonstrate they are clear of obstructions
- Clean or Replace Valve Gates: Pneumatic or Hydraulic
- Complete rewiring if necessary
- Provide client with final report of service results
- If you have experienced or are experiencing tool issues which require you to turn off one or more cavities, consistently mold parts that flash or are out of spec, have surface blemishes or color streaks, or a combination of all these—call us, we’re ready to help
- Our capabilities include:
- Welding and recutting damaged cores and cavities
- Repair or replace core pins, vent pins, and ejector pins
- Clean and repair all tool vents
- Cleaning and resurfacing cavity and core i.e., Dyna Blue, Nano Coat, etc.

- Rebuilding granulators
- Troubleshooting nearly any injection molding machine
- Troubleshooting clamp force and injection issues
- Fixing oil leaks
- PLC Programming (software must be up to date) for programming new systems to troubleshooting antiquated systems
- Robotics programming
- We work with molders who use nearly every type of injection molding material including, but not limited to: PA, PA6 & 6.6, PolyPro, HDPE, LDPE, ABS, PolyCarb, and TPE/TPU regardless of filler type or content
- We also work with molders using PVC. Ours is the only facility, within 600 miles, approved by the FDA to burn and dispose of carbonized/scrap PVC
- We do mold assessments on customer site with full report of how the mold is performing and show the recommended changes on a excel spread sheet to show the improvements
