With hundreds of years combined experience in the plastics industries, our Injection Molding Team has knowledge and problem-solving experience that is hard to beat. Our Injection Molding team has contacts in the industry to provide our clients cost-effective product development from idea through prototyping and small scale injection molding to full scale production. As a one-stop supplier of product development solutions, our team will reduce your overhead costs and reduce your time to market. Companies can't afford to do it alone. Call us.
Our team's contributions often start with part design using our experience in 3D CAD to get to the right version of your part quickly, we can then either 3D print most parts or assist in sourcing high quality mold building with a good understanding of the design guidelines and process tolerances. If you already have a part design, then we can start with a DFM review to ensure that the material selection, the design, and the manufacturing process all work together to meet all your cost, production and quality needs. Before going to mold production, we can also conduct 3D structural simulation and mold flow analysis.
We can conduct custom compounding for product development at scales ranging from mixing bowl studies to mini-twin extrusion blends at a rate of a pound or two up through 21 mm twin screw developmental scale and on to semi-works production using 27 mm and 50 mm twin screw extruders. Whatever the scale, whatever the custom compound - we are capable. We have access to contract services for 55 and 90-ton presses for mold temperatures up to 220°F. This equipment can be configured with your prototype or MUD mold for short-run product and tooling trials. A variety of in-house molds are also available for use including a wide array of ASTM test specimen molds including an ASTM family mold, a spiral flow mold, a 2”x3” variable thickness plaque mold, and color chip molds.
Do not accept delay in developing your product or risk your project outcome by working with anyone else. Call Bryan Hauger Consulting today!
