Axiom Group Expands Their Location to Open the First US Facility

Axiom Engineered Systems LLC, who currently has facilities in Ontario and Mexico is growing their company with their first location in the United States in Capac, Michigan. They are investing $13.3 million for the new facility in order to have the plant online and their leadership team hone in on the next steps to expand their company. This new expansion will provide over 200 new jobs. Their goal is to be up and running by early 2023; with the current location it has the ability to not only double in size in employment, but also double the amount of sales over the next three years. This new location will operate injection molding, warehousing, distribution, and administration. Axiom is working on expanding three more U.S. facilities.

Engel Releases New AI-Assisted Injection Molding Machine

Engel is set to debut their new injection molding machine, the Engel e-motion 160 combi M at the K show in Düsseldorf, Germany this October. The new machine is ideal for molding medical sample vessels and sports many innovative features. It takes up approximately 20% less floor space in addition to using considerably less energy all while doubling its output. The new machine is also accompanied by an AI-driven work cell. At K 2022, this new machine will debut and be molding sample vessels for medical use under cleanroom conditions. Read more here.
